"For my Raspberry painting, I used oil paints for the first time which went very well. I tried to get the realness and, at the same time, an abstract effect. I was able to do this by zooming into the raspberry, making the hairs stand out and the different shades of red, hot pink and purple and the pop of blue behind. I am very happy with it because I have got the realness and the right hues. If I did this again, I would focus more on the shape and form. I did this painting in response to Dawn Eaton. " Piera Ching.
